Rooted in home. Drawn to light. Here to help you remember what matters.
Wichita-based photographer, wife, and homeschool mama.
I’ve always been the mom with the camera.
For years, I documented everything, ball games, senior nights, everyday chaos, quiet milestones, and the in-between moments most people don’t think to save. As a homeschool mom raising a blended family of seven, my days were full, loud, and beautifully messy. My world revolved around home.
And then one by one… they grew up.
After our kids graduated and stepped into their own lives in their own ways, our house became quieter. What once felt nonstop suddenly felt still. With just our youngest—my 10-year-old—at home now, I found myself holding both deep gratitude and real grief.
Grateful for who they’ve become.
Grieving how quickly it all went.
Last year, in the middle of that season, I officially launched my professional photography business. What started years ago as “mom with a camera” became something more intentional. More purposeful.
Because I know what it feels like to blink and realize a chapter has closed.
Now when I photograph families, I don’t just see smiling faces. I see legacy. I see the sacred weight of “this won’t last forever.” I see moms who want to hold on just a little longer.
My heart is to create images that feel safe. Honest. Unrushed. The kind that let you exhale and think, “Yes. This is us.”
Because these seasons are fleeting — but the love inside them deserves to be remembered.
Our blended family of seven keeps life beautifully full. Add in a son-in-law, a sweet granddaughter, and a grandson, and you can imagine our gatherings are loud, a little chaotic, and overflowing with love.
That’s why I adore photographing families.
I know how fast kids grow.
I know how quickly seasons shift.
I know how precious it is to freeze time — even just for a moment.

""Having Tisha photography our one year old son Griffin is always so much fun! She is always able to get so many great shots that it is hard to pick a favorite. Her attention to detail and design are superior and she really captures our son's personality. We will cherish these photos forever!!"

"Tisha is so warm and inviting when doing photoshoots. She makes it clear that she is very passionate about what she does and loves every second she's behind the camera. She makes sure to make you comfortable and keep you genuinely smiling the whole time. I would love for her to do my wedding photos when I get married!
