A Fairytale Morning Anniversary Session at Bartlett Arboretum

There’s something so magical about watching another photographer’s couple relive their wedding day, especially when the morning light feels straight out of a storybook.

My sweet friend invited me to come along with her for The Smith's one-year anniversary session at the beautiful Bartlett Arboretum. This was the first time I met them, and from the moment they arrived in their wedding dress and suit, it felt like I had stepped into a living fairytale.

They met us at 10 a.m., right as the sun was soft and golden, spilling through the trees. The gardens were peaceful and still, with leaves dancing in the light and flower paths winding quietly through the arboretum.

As my friend photographed them, I had the joy of capturing a few moments alongside her with my Canon camera, the laughter, the gentle glances, the way one year of marriage had deepened their connection. It was an honor to witness such a tender celebration of love.
