There are so many different personalities that make up the Garden Girls, and that is one of my favorite things about this team.
Every girl brings something completely her own.
Today, I'm so excited to introduce you to Abby, a 2027 senior from Valley Falls High School!
Meet Abby
If there is one word that immediately comes to mind when I think about Abby, it's outgoing.
She loves people, loves being involved, and is always up for doing something fun. She has played softball, volleyball, and basketball her whole life, so being part of a team is clearly a pretty big part of who she is.
And honestly, I love that about her.
There's something really special about girls who genuinely enjoy being around other people and aren't afraid to jump into new experiences.
Outside of sports, Abby loves Starbucks, 7 Brew, Target, and Nike—so I have a feeling we already have a few things we can bond over! 😂
Her favorite season is summer, and she absolutely loves the ocean.
Which honestly makes perfect sense for someone who seems to have so much energy and loves being out doing things!
Why Abby Wanted to Be a Garden Girl
When I asked Abby why she wanted to be part of the Garden Girls, her answer was exactly the kind of heart I was hoping to find for this team.
She said:
“I genuinely enjoy connecting with people, creating content, and being involved in my community.”
She also loves the opportunity to represent a brand that celebrates confidence, friendship, and individuality during such an exciting season of life.
And that is exactly what I want the Garden Girls to be about.
Yes, we're going to take beautiful senior pictures.
Yes, we're going to create fun content.
But underneath all of that, I want these girls to feel like they belong.
I want them to make connections.
I want them to celebrate each other's differences.
I want them to feel confident being exactly who they are.
And I want them to have a whole lot of fun along the way.
A Senior Year Full of Memories
When I asked Abby what she is most looking forward to about her senior year, her answer made me smile:
Graduating!

Honestly, I love the straightforward answer.
After years of school, sports, practices, games, homework, early mornings, and everything else that comes with growing up, there is something pretty exciting about finally reaching that finish line.
But before Abby walks across that graduation stage, I hope she gets to slow down and enjoy the year she's worked so hard to reach.
I hope there are plenty of games and memories with her teammates.
I hope there are spontaneous adventures with friends.
I hope there are lots of laughs.
I hope she makes memories that have nothing to do with a camera.
And I hope she looks back one day and remembers just how much fun she had being a senior.
Why I'm Excited to Have Abby as a Garden Girl
One of my favorite parts of being a Wichita senior photographer is getting to know the person behind the senior portrait.
Because your senior photos shouldn't just show what you looked like at 17 or 18.
They should give people a glimpse into who you were.
What you loved.
Who you spent your time with.
What made you laugh.
What you were passionate about.
And what made this season of your life uniquely yours.
For Abby, I already know that means bringing plenty of personality, energy, sports, friendship, and fun into the mix.
I can't wait to see where this year takes her.
